3 Star, Superior Tourist Class Traditional Hotel
The hotel is located right in the centre in a quiet area parallel to the Main train station. The rooms are medium in size and nicely decorated in a cosy Bavarian style with wooden Beds and wooden furniture.
The Restaurant is fantastic and it also has a brilliant Beergarden attached to it which can be used in summer. The food is authentic Bavarian food prepared and served in a friendly traditional family atmosphere. You do not get much of these and so good restaurants any more. It is certainly a "must" to try one of their dishes preferable a traditional one with original german " dumblings"
The hotel's building is a traditional Bavarian townhouse The lobby is small but cosy and traditional in style.
As all mentioned in the report above - when you want to explore Munich centrally and stay in a traditional family run hotel - this is a very good offer.
